THE UK’s PREMIER MODEL RAILWAY EVENT
In 1988 Warley MRC produced its first limited edition wagon, to celebrate our 21st show, held then at the Harry Mitchell Centre.
It was not until 2000 and by now the exhibition was held at the NEC, that we tried another limited edition. Since then we have commissioned wagons every year - our criterion being that they came from locations near to the club
When we were sponsored by Virgin Trains, that company commissioned a number of limited edition wagons to promote themselves at our show as well as at others where we attended as a support team with our layout Yardlea and later Queslett. A number of private owner wagons were also commissioned that were used as prizes at the Glasgow shows. The slide show is in production year order.
In 2011 a short run of CO-OP wagon kits were produced for the O gauge enthusiasts
